Crucial BX-100 trouble

even with the update from the CRUCIAL site...
I get's the BSOD
freezes, does the BSOD, over and over and over
there was nothing to chane in the BIOS, no shadowing
crucial just sucks?! or WTF am I doin' wrong?!

Just got it? What have you tried to do with it? Clone? fresh install? ACHI mode? IDE mode?

had it for a while
but takin care of mom, so it was difficult to follow thru...constant interruptions...just
laid Mom to rest last week and so, just started putzing with it again
windows 7 fresh install
checked the crucial site and there was an iso update
got that burned and installed, done ok, it said it was updated, but still just froze up , and only after a few minutes, less than 10min, more like 5min.

perhaps I need to wipe it first, update it then install the OS?

Wipe, fresh install, if that doesn't work, RMA the SSD. If the replacement SSD exhibits same issues, then we'll reinvestigate what you're doing wrong.
