So, what does Bayern say about all this? Was Pep's contract up at the end of the season? This just seems odd to have a guy at one of the biggest clubs in the world say he is leaving before the end of the season.

Pretty shameful they way they have treated Peller

Expect City to spend biggggg this summer. The roster needed an overhaul this last season but its on its last leg now.

For sure going to need changes in the back and holding midfield to play pep's style.

City and Bayern could still face each other in the Champions League which would really make it strange.

Pep did this to Jupp Heynckes before taking his job. If you read between the lines, I don't think wanted to retire at all and Bayern wins the CL that season. Just kind of slimey all around.

He's known this was coming all along. He's said before that he wants Pep to manage city. Hell even when he first signed on he said he would be here 3 years.

This is pretty lame. I always thought of Pep as better than this.

Maybe they'll be able to fill part of the upper deck now.

Pep has officially sold his soul to the devil.

Does this mean Neymar goes to City?

Should be interesting to see how he does in a league where there's more than one team that's competing for a title with.

Jupp was pussyfooting around with regards to whether or not he would be retiring. A club like Bayern is not going to wait until the end of the year for an answer so they answered for him. If they had not gotten confirmation from Pep, they would have maybe waited but they weren't going to wait and miss out on Pep because Jupp was being indecisive.

Didn't think he was a money grubbing whore like everyone else in world football.

Goes from two of the most storied clubs on the planet to this shite house Hawk Training experiment.

at what point do you feel like city would be worthy of a coach such as pep?

Butthurt much?

I mean City could still win four championships this year and have two EPL titles to their name in recent years. Not likely going to happen that we win four trophies this year, but to call the club a "shite house Hawk Training experiment" I'd say is a tad bit of a stretch.
