Looked to me like he was trying to get something out of his left coat pocket.

When you flee from the cops, crash your truck trying to avoid a road block, are surrounded by cops with their weapons drawn and pointed at you after you exit the vehicle, it seems like a terrible idea to attempt to pull something out of your pocket.

That is noteworthy but any motherfricker who thinks they can run from the cops then, be told to surrender and after puts their hands in their jacket to reach for whatever, is asking for trouble.

Especially given the context. You guys can't be so shallow. These dudes were making videos threatening the gov't. Come on people, it's not hard to see.

My bad GR, going to edit my post to make it a little more clear.

He reached a couple of times. And you don't warm your hands up in the inside upper pockets.

You said he reached. His hands could have come down while he tried to keep his balance in the 2 ft snow.
This has to be a troll. Did you even watch the videos to see where his hand went? I doubt it.

I'm not saying the cops were wrong. I'm pretty consistent in my opinion that if you make sudden moves like that with guns on you, it probably won't and shouldn't end well.

I do enjoy the flip flop of some people because of who the victim is (on both sides). Not aimed at you, just in general.

You see him get out with his hands up trying to walk through the snow. He makes a turn and his hands come down. At what point is he shot? If it was that original movement, he could have easily been grabbing his side. We can't hear what was said or tell when the first shot took place. Everything is an assumption.

Facts: he's an idiot. Running away from cops and into a road block because he was speeding. Nothing I saw after that showed conclusively that he was a threat. Does that mean he wasn't? Of course not. It just means I don't know and neither does anyone who's going solely off the video.

That's the only Assumption you can make from that video.

I was actually thinking that too but I believe if you re watch it, you can see it was after the reach. Really, without sound or other video, we may never know, or at least know the truth.

What's the only assumption? That he was going for a gun?

I can't tell anything about when the very first shot took place. Not sure how you could. We don't even know if the vehicle was being shot at while it was going at the barricade.

I tend to side with N.W.A. ON I on this issue. But that guy was either an absolute dumbass, or was going for martyrdom.

I don't care if he was reaching for a stick of gum. You don't reach for something after fleeing the initial stop and almost running over a FBI agent. I'm not going to give you a chance to pull your gun or whatever when you know damn well you're fricking up. He wanted to be a martyr or just go out in a blaze of glory and he got it.

exactly, they are screaming at idiots like this, 'hands motherfricker' 'do anything stupid with your hands and you die here today'

dumbasses and people with death wishes then proceed to suddenly needs something from deep in a coat.

I heard a lot of tough talk from these gun toting faux bad assess but then when they had to face something a little tougher than unarmed civilians,

they looked like a bunch of scared little rabbits.

didn't even get off a shot.

Conservative republican role models if I've ever seen one.

That one clueless bastard just couldn't wait to see Jesus.

Glad they were able to help him out.

I think that whole group was filled with dumbass.

Didn't they take over that place without enough food to last them hardly any time or was that made up?

Are you watching the video NegativeNomad posted? Go watch that. He damn near kills a cop by running over him, then, to me, it's pretty obvious he's reaching for something before he got shot.

Either way, dude had a death wish.

I don't know what to tell y'all if y'all can't watch the video NN posted and tell he's reaching for something. Also, you're not walking on snow and standing upright if you get shot. You can see he dropped the first time he got hit.

Do you not see him try to hit the guy standing in the snow when he goes off of the road? If wasn't trying to hit him, going wider is extremely easy right there.

In addition, have you ever walked in 2 ft of snow? Your arms stay wide when maintaining balance, even if they are going up and down. They never come into the body while actively swinging to maintain balance.

You also don't bring both hands to the same side of your body. It looked more like he was trying to pull something from his pocket, and his opposite hand was pulling on the outside of the pocket to allow for easier removal of the object.
