I'm not defending the welter Debo argument but Debo wasn't ready day 1. He needed to grow. Welter and Debo also played different positions.

I wish he would have played more for sure. Home he does well in the pros.

I kept thinking 2 seasons ago was gonna be kwon beckwith and Debo. Pretty much only saw Kwon

Literally, consider that he missed a game for targeting, and still lead the team in tackles.

Well, I like where you are going with MOST of your post... but he only missed the 1st HALF vs. Syracuse. THEN he came right in and made the FIRST tackle of the 2nd Half.

Kwon Alexander clone. He's going to be great.

I'm not a fan of speaking badly about any LSU player. However, I'll make an exception in this case being they're no longer here. The mere mention of the names DJ Welter or Karnell Hatcher makes my skin crawl. The fact that they ever sniffed the grass of Tiger Stadium blows my mind.......just plain awful!

Should have never sat behind lamar louis.

Louis isn't the one who should have hit the pine. We could have played Kwon at mlb, where he plays in the league, put Debo at Kwon's old spot, and played Louis, Kwon, and Debo instead of Welter.

He is tearing it up at training camp. Some pro team will get yet another solid LSU football player in the mid to late rounds.

Of course they could have done that, but you are talkin about a terribly coached team with coaches that are terrible at recognizing talent. Fans had to all but beg Miles to finally take Welter out and go with Beckwith.

Yeah. The decision to force chavis to put beckwith in was because of the fans.

Please never stop being a fricking retard

And terribly coached?

You are dumb, but of course you are. I said Miles idiot - comphendre?? Of course not. After fans kept askin him at his weekly radio show about replacing Welter with Beckwith he finally relented. Chavis is going to do what Miles tells him just like Cameron.

you are one of the biggest tools on here! You prove it every damn day. frickin moron!

You mouthbreathers said for years that any defensive success shouldn't be credited to Miles but he is responsible now for welter playing over beckwith?

You are such a clown

Love me some Debo.
He'll definitely be the hardest to replace this year.
Wish him the best of luck, but he'll do just fine.
Great player!

Him and Beckwith not starting all of the 2014 season is a travesty.

Loved watching Debo play. Even when he was a freshman I couldn't figure out why he didn't get more PT.

Also, Kleinpeter really needs to proofread his work. Some of the typos in there are atrocious.
