In between. Not a fan of the sickeningly sweet red sauce but I like the taste of a sauce that's been cooking all day and this is how Red Gravy's tastes.

And someone asked about "red gravy" and "red sauce".. I've always understood gravy to be made with the drippings from meat. So a meat (sausages or ground beef, etc) would be browned and removed, then the tomatoes and seasonings cooked in the drippings to make the gravy.

A sauce is just the tomatoes, cooked with seasonings and vegetables (onion, bellpepper, bay leaf, etc)
