Cap is high and a ULL lover.

I don't get why some of y'all hate ULL so much. Its a good opportunity for a weekend series without having to travel

If you're going to travel for OOC as LSU, you want to go somewhere somewhat far away against a good team. It's a great early test. The midweeks or for the ULL, SELU and Tulane types.

This thread was a good read. Big boy wants all home OOC games because his rascal power chair can't go on the plane with him to the west coast.

I'm not worried about travel, just level of competition. And ULL is a step above Tulane and Southeastern, though I do agree about playing them midweek as opposed to Alcorn State.

They were the last 2 years. SELU was up before that and Tulane in the early 00s and even UNO before that. I don't want "rivalries" with these teams because at some point they'll suck again.

That's the thing, if we schedule ULL on the weekend (which they almost certainly will not do without a return trip) then we replace the one or two mid week games against them with worse teams. Playing them in the mid week is better.

That's why they're perfect for mid week. Travel to one or two a year on a rotating basis and play the rest at home. UNO and McNeese are nowhere near what they used to be, but Nicholls and Northwestern are getting better. SELU, ULL, and Tulane are ones I wouldn't mind us playing more than once a year. I like that we finally got Tech back on the schedule.
I do think it would be cool to play a neutral site game in Shreveport against a team like Dallas Baptist or Oklahoma St or something like that.

You don't know what's going on in the program. I'm at the meetings. I'm at the fundraisers. I'm in the shadows. My signature is on the checks and I'm telling you right now you know jack shite.

I wouldn't mind them doing an away series somewhere in the south. Miami,FLa St, one of the Tx schools,az,az st, ucla, stanford, fullerton.
who wants to go up north in feb or march?
ETA: but, i remember something about it being part of the deal when building the new stadium that they wouldn't travel for OOC. But, i don't know how long that was supposed to last.

Remember when he posted the phone number to the baseball office like it was a super secret cell phone number he had because he's special but it was just the number you could easily find online if you went to the website?

That was around the time he melted down and quit TD because no one cared he had inside info and knew Ibarra had an exam one day before practice.

Was the before or after he deleted about two weeks worth of posts with coaches committee inside info?

Meh, we could drop them pretty easily when that happens

We went to Houston for that tournament/round robin last year
