I feel bad for squishing a lady bug. And a granddaddy long legs spider. Can't think of any others I particularly care about..

Would be a lot easier to say what we don't mind killing.

Don't really kill many bugs unless they are somewhere that they are not supposed to be. I do kill the shite out of mosquitos and flies though.

If its in my house it dies. If its in nature it lives.

Why would you kill a lady bug?

They're easy to catch and let go outside.

Cicadas. There was this huge spider in my apartment that I killed a while back that I felt a little bad about killing too. I should have just caught and released, but I got scared. Once animals get a certain size I guess I feel a little bad, especially if I'm not getting any use out of it.

I'll kill most bugs in my house, except for lady bugs. I'll bring them outside. I'll kill a roach anywhere.

I only kill mosquitoes and roaches. Non stinging/biting/vermin bugs I will let them outside.

I used to also kill house centipedes, but I've read they are great for pest control, even though they are creepy as frick.

I kill roaches, wasps, mosquitos, flies, gnats, and reluctantly, scorpions. Everything else is probably safe.

Moths I try to set free when I find them in the house. Dragonflies as well, though it's only happened once.

Kind of related, one time a ladybug landed on the frame of my glasses while I was walking across campus. I refrained from slapping my face out of shock. It flew off a minute or so later. Now I realize I should've taken a photo.
