Glad to see someone on the outside showing us some love. We should have the most experienced team we have had in a while with 18~ returning starters (KB TW ??)

Also, we are bringing the coodinator of this season's top defense and now he has an all-star staff and a lot more talent to work with.

We should bring in the no.1 recruiting class, which means 3 straight top-5 classes.

Fournette is a freak of nature. If Harris improves as much as he did from last year to this year he will be a good QB. His hernia may have been holding him back. Think about that throw on the run to wide open trey Quinn he just short armed by about 15 yards. Since when did Harris become one with a lack of arm strength? Abdominal hernia probs.

also Bama will likely lose both coodinators, 9 or so starters on defense, their QB and Derrick Henry. Plus we get them at home. Best chance to beat them we've had in a while.

We should be a top-5 team next season.

Amen brother, but we need to finish higher than 7. 7 isn't the goal

We have the keys in place. Just got to get them ready. Also, lol at Baylor 3 but i guess the rankings title says it all.

Rome wasn't rebuilt overnight my friend. We are heading in the right direction, and that's all I can ask of my Tigers!

Everyone take their biased blinders off for a moment. Think that we knew Steele's D was suspect all along. Think that we were in love with how Harris was growing up until he got hurt and the OL took some major hits.

Now, knowing that Harris was growing and that we really believe our defense is aging and under better leadership. While I would say that every year that results among the best 10 or so teams in the Nation is exactly the goal, many of you would say only an NC would do. As unreasonable as that is, you have to admit that there are very few question marks next year and I really think we will be there in the end in 2016. If Beckwith stays, I will go on record that we will be scary good and will accept a permanent ban if we don't finish top 5... Someone please bookmark for me!

I don't disagree with you, but a sports hernia isn't typically abdominal problems.

not way too high.. doesn't mean i expect better, but based on returning talent and the schedule I expect LSU to be at least #5 in the polls.

I hate being ranked high early or prematurely.

Allow this to sink in:

Outlook: After surviving an attempted coup, Tigers coach Les Miles probably knows his team is going to have to challenge Alabama in the SEC West if he's going to keep his job. He took a big step in doing that by hiring Wisconsin defensive coordinator Dave Aranda. Miles also seems intent on keeping offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, even after the Tigers ranked 111th in the FBS in passing yards (173.1) and 57th in scoring (30.7).

The man will not change and he has $12 million reasons not to change.

All these things are great but the number 1 and 2 things that must happen.

1) Harris needs to be a solid QB for us. Without that, we never win it all.

2) Aranda needs to restore Tiger D to its rightful position.

Top 7 is not a stretch given how much comes back; but will that equate to not finishing 2 or 3 in the West?

Pitching wins games. We are elite and deep there. Rest of the team? Never in my life have I seen this many new full time starters. The Jordans should bring the wood, hopefully Robertson and Papierski have made serious progress at the plate. So who knows other than they are all talented with tons of potential. We could win the conference or finish 4th in the West and I'm excited honestly.

Ole Miss is the stretch at 13. Return 4 starters on offense and 4 on defense. I think we are ranked about right.

I tend to agree with what Marcus Spears said the other day, if he loses early a couple times and the offense is still offensive looking I dont think he will even finish the year. I think people have had it with him, if this didnt scare him into updating the offense then nothing will and he should be shown the door. And have a top notch coach put in place by early december. It will say alot about him if this did not open his eyes. He better win it all next year with everyone else losing so much and us having everything back.

That is exactly what it is.
It also could explain the decline in accuracy Harris suffered from 2nd half of Bama on.
