I guess because it's the playoffs...

Some of the shite I've seen in this steelers vs Bengals game would totally be holding or PI against the saints and/or browner.

Doesn't matter now, season is over. Blaming the refs is chicken shite, but I'm just sayin....

All depends of how the game plays out. 2 physical Ds and refs let more go. But Browner deserves every one he gets. Got to grab onto a player if they gonna blow right past you. Lol

Browner's reputation precedes him. He'll get a holding call if he looks crossways at the receiver.

I'm pumped about next year's secondary if we stay healthy. Breaux and Lewis may be one of the top tandems in the league. Hopefully swann is not brain dead and can play the slot. Let Browner and Kenny roam around and fricking hit people.

I was agreeing with your post until you indicated Browner would still be on the team. His arse better be a June 1st cut.

There is only a $2 million savings by cutting him. I think if everyone else is healthy we can actually figure out a way to utilize his strengths. Maybe they turn him into a safety.

Add pj Williams to that list too. Was decently talented in college.

Because he's grabbing the jersey while he's looking crossways. His penalties weren't cheap he's just terrible. Get him the hell out of here.

Homer saints fan at it's finest

Breaux will be a top 7 corner though Lewis is not as good as you see through your black and gold glasses.

He has no strengths. The dude can't run anymore, and refs won't let him get away with anything. He's done.

We could move him to the o-line. They hold every play

As to holding does anyone know why a D lineman would want/have to wear a tight fitting jersey? Same for LB'ers. I would think a lose fitting jersey would show holds better to the refs?

I think they want them tight so it's next to impossible to grab it, so that you're only recourse is to get you hands under the shoulder pads, which makes a hold more visible to the refs.

Each official crew is different. Coaches and players know this, and they prepare each week for specific crews. If Saints were playing with this particular one, then Browner may very well leave the game with only 2 holding/PI calls

That and there is no guarantee that a hold will be called.

I have a friend going through training to be a ref for high school football (currently a sideline official). He explained that depending on where the ball is, the refs actually look for different things. I do not recall all of the nuances, but that may play into the decision as well.

Lewis shut down every WR he went up against in 2013, he played at a very good level with one leg in 2014. Its not black and gold glasses, its actually watching your team play and knowing who is good and who isn't. 2014 we had Lewis and a bunch of scrubs on the other side.

That's cool but this is 2016 not 2013. And in 2016 Breaux is a stud and Lewis is above average.

Colston was a beast BACK IN 2009. Let's keep him too

Harper was good let's pick him up RESIGN also

Let's pickup Meachem AGAIN to steal snaps from younger better players too. I also heard Will Smith was on the market.

Let's continue to make great moves only the saints are capable of pulling off
