who's to say Les wouldn't have done just as good if not better had he stayed in stillwater?

That's the thing. He will get the Jamais and Cams and actually develope them.
In case you haven't been paying attention, Miles has not been doing so hot in the SEC lately either.

Well, look where the Sooners are now. Two victories away from a national championship
which is a long way from actually winning the nc.
big game bob hasn't won an nc in 15 years and I don't think he will now either. this article is merely an opportunistic one.

Mike Gundy's record is 94-46. Les Miles is 111-32. Gundy happens to be on a roll at the moment but he's had more than a few .500 seasons.

Loaded with All Americans? That's a bit of an exaggeration wouldn't you say.

Maybe, but no more of an exaggeration than "the program is ruined" though if it is. Perhaps I should have couched it with "potential" in front of the word All-Americans.
Fournette, Dupre, Pocic, Adams, Beckwith if he returns, Tolliver, Key ... all AA caliber players.

Who has been recruiting and coaching QB and OLine for the past 10 years?

Not so sure. Plus he was already on staff, so technically he was a Miles hire. I'd rather Les make the next hire than the clowns in charge now.

I am just going to say NOPE. Jimbo is upgrade imo
I don't see any evidence of Jimbo being an upgrade. At most a lateral move with a big chance of being a downgrade. Unless we can bring in someone obviously better than Miles (like a more seasoned Tom Herman HOuston coach a couple years from now) then no point in changing coaches just for the sake of change
