It's crowded at times. We never go there. Anyway, as bad as Ellic is for food we made this list twice.

The bagel and fried egg look great but I don't know what else people eat in Alexandria that puts them on the culinary map.
I recently attended a really nice engagement party in Alex and the food was from "The Spoon" a caterer in Alex. They served shrimp and grits. I thought it was soup.
