Trying to wrap up my Christmas shopping. I have a FIL that has everything. If he wants something, he buys it before we know he wants it. He just started walking everyday and I think he may eventually want a set of In-ear headphones. He has a Bose over the ear set, but he uses them for movies and such.

Who makes a good a good In-ear set? I don't necessarily want to get him the "best", if he likes a good pair, he can spend the big buck and get exactly what he wants.

Bose?
These
Beats?
These

I know that both these brands carry an expensive name. They are a gift, so I do not care all that much. But, what would be a comparable or even better set, around that price range or a bit more?

He has a Windows phone, so no need for Apple or Android controls.

Thanks

I would probably try the Sennheiser Momentum in ears over those two, but I admittedly have not tried any of the three.

I do have some higher end IEMs, including some Bose, and the Bose pairs I have are pretty solid.

Amazon also has the Shure SE215s on deep discount, but they're noise isolating and that isn't a great idea for walking.

MEE Audio M6 Pro is a steal

These are very highly regarded...especially considering they're less than $50. I listen to mine every day for multiple hours a day. These are pretty incredible and the accessories that they include are a very nice touch. I'd order some extra Comply tips because they offer better sound, IMO.

I have a pair of Bose Freestyles and a pair of the Sennheiser Momentums mentioned earlier. The Sennheisers sound a bit better in my opinion, but for my workouts I prefer the Bose by a long shot. They are more comfortable and more purpose-built for active use. I'm not sure how the pair you linked would compare to mine, but I'm a fan of most of what Bose has to offer.

Sennheiser CX 685

I have a pair of these that have been awesome for me. They stay in the ear very well and sweat isn't an issue like it has been in the past with other headphones I've tried (mainly stock apple/android type)

I have the beats, they've held up better than I anticipated. They stay on/ in my ear at the gym, running, mowing, etc without falling out, or becoming uncomfortable like most in ears that I have had.

MEelectronics M6pro. $50

And never look back

I did a lot of research a while back and ended up getting these. They are unreal with clarity. Not too much bass like beats.
