Welcome the fat people, bro. Ostracizing them won't make them less fat.

Nope, significantly taller.
No Walt, I don't grunt.

People like you are why other people stop going to the gym.
Instead of bitching about it, why don't you help new people out?

Like throwing peoples stuff on the floor of the locker room, or threatening to assault them over inadvertent contact?

Wipe down the machine. I don't pay 10 bucks a month to planet fitness to sit in your sweat.

Put a lock on your freaking locker. If I open a locker and its full of shite, I have been known to throw it on the floor
I dont fight just for the hell of it, but if I would walk into the locker room and someone was doing this to my stuff I would either punch you in the face or take your shirt out of your hand, go take a shite, wipe my arse with it, fold it nicely and give it back to you.

Phones should never be allowed in the workout area. Probably the biggest reason that I made my on gym at home.

Everyone starts somewhere. If they are in there busting arse I will respeck. If they are facebooking and half assing I have no mercy

I didn't. Nicely done.

Of all of those, the only thing that bothers me is dropping weights.
Also I have never used a lock, ever, and no one dumps my stuff on the ground because there are about 50 lockers available...

You bump into me while I'm lifting, you're begging for an arse whipping. That's a very easy way to seriously hurt someone.

In all seriousness. I have no issues with helping people out and do so from time to time. I don't approach people and tell them they are doing something wrong, but if someone ask I will take the time to share some of what I've learned over the years.
That said, the new years rush is very frustrating for people who work out regularly. You get a huge influx of people coming in with no etiquette at all. It makes it almost impossible to enjoy and get a good work out at times. Last year, there were days I couldn't even get in the gym because the child care center was at capacity. It's no ones fault, but it impacts everyone.
I guess there would be more willingness to adjust if most of these people were serious about getting fit. We see it year after year. Huge influx of people and they start dropping like flies after about 6 weeks. By March, it's back to normal and there's 4 or 5 people that made it through to become regulars.
It makes people like me hate it because a lot of these people are creating an inconvenience for no reason since they aren't serious about it and don't stick with it. I'd prefer they not waste their time and money and not get in my way.

I like when the posters post something that they get a bad response to and then try to claim its a troll.

I won't pretend to be a tough guy and do that, but you can sure bet I'd sound the lunk alarm if you tried that on me, buddy boy.
