Solid Effort Today Overall

Really wanted that one today for many reasons (one main one being that Cam Newton is the biggest POS in the NFL) but it wasn't to be. Here is where I think the game was lost.
1. INJURIES! Breaux doesn't go down, Ellerbe plays Keenan plays, Evans plays, Snead plays the game would have been ours. The team was fired up but missed the important depth needed to win a game like this.
2. Penalties. The refs were shite today but there are plenty of boneheaded plays our guys are making. I realize Browner is about half of the penalties and there were some chippy calls, but refs make those types of call against teams that are heavily penalized
3. Not capitalizing on turnovers. 3 turnovers 3 points. That's not good enough to beat the panthers. I'll put the missed FG in here too as those 3 points turned out to be huge
4. Brandon Browner. Never thought there could be a Saints CB worse than Jason David but this guy is beating him by miles. I would take literally anyone over this guy. I understand the depth issue caused us having to play him today but if this guy is on the team next year then I will be convinced that he has photos of a Benson/Payton/Loomis 3 way. He is almost single handling responsible for every loss
That being said, the defense held there own today. Mauti's hit on Cam was awesome, Stephone Anthony had the best game of his young career. A lot of nice individual plays but not enough as a team. I think coaching was good today. I liked the play call at the end of the game but Drew should have look for Coleman instead.
Tough loss. Gave them all they could handle and more. I know better days are ahead next year. I like seeing fight still in the team, they just need to have a solid offseason and an above average draft to right the ship. Go Saints

defense was complete shite. 41 points is not a good or admirable game by any stretch. it's not like the panthers have some run and gun offense.

???
Does Cam have an ungly domestic violence incident on his record like Greg Hardy? Did he torture and kill dogs like Ron Mexico? Does he have a taste for underage girls like Gronk?
Douche I'll agree with. POS isn't fair. Biggest POS in the league is comically wrong.

I'm not saying the defense was great but they played hard for what they had to work with. Losing Breaux was huge but they hung in there. Remember the offense was non existent most of the 1st half and 3rd quarter. They got scored on because they were on the field a lot.

Have you ever seen a football game before today?
You are totally and completely wrong.
500 yards is not any kind of effort, at all.
They are poorly coached, they fail at basic coverage techniques, they miss tackles, and those are the good points. Anyone on ithis board that says anything positive about this defense should have their crayons taken away

In the 1st half.

Browner on Ginn negates any good decisions. Ginn dropped like 2 more TDs.

I forgot this board is a bunch of negative folks.
Let me rephrase, Cam is the biggest POS in the NFL ON THE FIELD. He had a few questionable off the field issue in college but I we can conveniently forget about that.
Yes, I've watched football before. You can account about 200 yards to Browner. So if you take out his sorry arse, the defense played well.

Bad teams find a way to lose.
The Saints win the turnover battle and have Ginn drop passes and still they lose.
"You are who your record says you are."
2015 Saints are not even mediocre. They are bad. They are worse than 4-8.
