Stated that his son Tyson was at the LSU camp last year and Cameron told him "every time you throw the football, throw it as hard as you can", and alluded to Harris and his short passing having no touch. Indicated that he thinks this approach is the reason for Harris' struggles with the short passing game.

Makes sense to me.

And I'm sure there was no other context that Cam said that in.

Cameron can't be that dumb. Plus we are talking about high school and college players.

I'm sure that is all the coaching an NFL/CFB coach gave.

Maybe it's because Harvey Jr. throws like a girl.

When you are young, whether a QB or Pitcher, learning to throw hard is the most important thing you can do.

What really concerns me is that I think the OP believes this story.

Yeah, I mean, we have really no idea what context this was said in and how Tyson was throwing the ball at that given time....but let's just assume Cam says this to every single qb.

Can't believe people are this ignorant. So a coach, who has climbed the ranks as a successful o.c. from college, to head coach in college, to n.f.l. (with some the who's who of qb's and record breaking offenses) to head coach in n.f.l. back to college, amassing success over 20 years and he doesn't know what to tell a qb?

Do we need to go through who this guy has developed again? Grbac, Randal el, breese, rivers, flaco, even tyrod taylor, who he coached at Baltimore, is having success now. He taught George whitfield. yet, Harvey knows more than cam. Cam is so dumb all he knows is to tell a qb throw hard.

Just think about it.

I can see Cam saying this if the kid was throwing on the side with another player. Could be a method to help develop arm strength.

I doubt if that was Cam's advice in every passing situation in a game.

Context is important. I'm sure Cam isn't that stupid.

I'm not a fan of what's going on, but I've heard Miles say on numerous occasions that they're trying to teach Harris that he needs to put touch on passes and that he can't only have a fastball in his repertoire.

Cmon guys. We are talking about a guy that coached several years in the NFL. Are y'all really trying to instill the rationale that Cameron is that bad and to blame?
