Not coming to a "complete stop"

As I was driving on Claycut yesterday morning, I was at the intersection on Claycut by the golf course, just passed the bridge. I was heading towards Acadian and he was headed towards Foster(we were facing opposite ways at an intersection) He says I didn't stop at the stop sign, but I clearly did. I think he just gave me the ticket because yesterday was the last day in November and I think he was just trying to fill his ticket quota for the month.
Any suggestions on what to do.

Go to court and fight it. Hopefully he doesn't show up and you skate home free.

go to court and make them prove you didn't stop. You think the cop is going to show up in court? If he does, he better have some evidence to prove you didn't stop. Word of mouth isn't what it use to be.

If you'll look at the legal precedent going back 30-40 years you'll see that the courts have ruled time and again that a full and complete stop is not mandated. If you're careful and glance in both directions of traffic you have completed your statutory obligation.

frick....I missed my ticket quota again. That makes every month in a row since I have been hired that I failed to make it

That's right. Ticket quotas are not real. The perception of increased speed traps toward the end of the month on I10 between gramercy and Laplace is a fallacy.

"Rolling stop" is such a bullshite ticket, but it's your word against the cop's. Cop shows up, cop wins.
