I've figured it out.
The "LSU" people who start and post on these threads are mostly from around Acadiana and could not get into UL, so they became sidewalk LSU fans, mainly to vent their resentment of UL.

The Cajun fans who think we are competitive with LSU are just bitter and salty. No reasonable person here thinks ULL = LSU

But not gonna lie the campus at ULL is awesome. It's a cool school and cool town if the people would shut the hell up about Lsu haha

I wish ULL would simply win their own conference outright. It's not asking much. Just do it in a sport not named baseball or softball, which is all that is relevant at ULL.

Yeah it is a pretty cool campus. Not too small but not so big that it's not intimate.

It blows my mind that they don't run through the sun belt in every sport. That new facility they built is legit. They have AAC quality facilities. If they would beat up on sun belt they could jump To AAC then possibly gain respect from power 5's like Lsu. The state would benefit big time from a football matchup.

the most funny thing about this all is how big and hard everyone supports ULL and wears red all the time but if you go to a football game the stadium is empty. They are closet Lsu fans. They all go to BR when Lsu plays
