So LSU bad for wanting Les out, UGA right for firing Richt according to Mandel

He basically acknowledges the only difference between the two is some fortunate luck for Miles and getting into the NC.
He also says Les' only sin is not beating Saban, which is incredibly false.

ut the SEC did not make it through the weekend without losing another accomplished coach. On Sunday, Georgia made official what appeared inevitable for the past month in firing 15-year coach and world-class human being Mark Richt.
Richt posted a similarly sterling .740 winning percentage over his largely successful tenure. Like Miles, whose team went 8-3 this regular season, he finished with an ostensibly respectable 9-3 record. He even produced a better SEC record the past three seasons (16-8) than Miles (14-10).
And yet I feel as strongly that Georgia made the smart, albeit painful decision as I did that LSU would have severely regretted running off Miles.
The two situations aren’t nearly as comparable as the numbers indicate. Part of that is just bad luck on Richt’s part. Miles owns a BCS championship ring he won in 2007 with a 12-2 team. Richt had a two-loss team that same year that did not win its division. Richt coached a 13-1 team in 2002 that finished behind two undefeated teams and a 12-2 team in 2012 that came within a deflected pass of playing Notre Dame instead of Alabama.

Had we beat Bama this year, none of last week happens.

Mark Richt punked Les Miles' NFLU squad in 2013.

More like punked Chavis. The offense did it's job that day.

Not the point.

Still doesn't change the fact that beating Saban is Miles main goal for next year. It'd be delusional to think otherwise.

I can't believe they fired Mark Richt.
Who do they think they're going to get?

In this case it is. UGA can still get to the SECCG without beating Bama, LSU however.

UGA fires Richt and it's business as usual, and yall are all shouting "DOUBLE-STANDARD!!!" The difference is that they didn't torture him for 3 weeks, hanging him out in front of the local media with bullshite leaks, etc. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON THIS BECAME A BIG DEAL. Alleva screwed this all up from the beginning to end. Firing him and finding a worth a shite AD is the first step to rehabbing athletics here. He was a joke at Duke and he's a joke here too.

It's ridiculous. LSU gets dragged through the mud by the media while Georgia gets a pass.

Chavis fault
Studrawa's fault
Crowton's fault
Mallory and Peveto's fault
Young qb's fault
Bad qb's fault
Perriloux's fault
So none of Les' losses are his fault, got it.

People who don't follow the ins and outs this program on a daily basis just can't and don't understand. Only talking heads I've heard that do were booger, pollack, and doering.

I'll take things I never said for $1000, Alex.
