Les Miles since 2009 has 1 unranked finish and no season comes close to a losing season.

LSU plays in a far harder division in that time span.

Give it time. It'll be 2 unranked finishes soon and more to come.

On his way to 2 in a row. That's what's called a trend.

Eh... that's not why Richt was fired, though. He went 30-10 these last few years. He was fired because despite having the best roster in the division, Missouri and Florida have won the East the last three years.

it doesn't matter, we aren't winning anything significant.

who else sends as many players to the nfl. we still have no business losing to anyone aside from alabama. we can do so much better. it's disgusting seeing us ever to lose arkansas or a mississippi school.

So you're just chalking our bowl game up to a loss? Great fan you are.

UGA lost it's best running back two years in a row.

Question: Where would LSU be without Fournette in '14 or '15?

1-3 in recent bowl games. Downward trends all over the place.

Counting 2011, they both have 49 wins from 2011 to now.

We can pick all kinds of arbitrary cut offs if we want.

Of course, I guess you could say Les should have 50.

And LSU has finished 1st in the SECW once, SEC Champ once and a title game beat down.

All that in 2011.

3 years in a row.

The Miles/Richt comparison is pretty ridiculous.

And for those saying "hey look! Georgia doesn't settle for mediocrity!!!"

Um, they have been for the last 10 seasons.

LSU is ranked right now.

I'm sure you're disappointed.

We are going to da ship. Oh wait....we are barely ranked after beating a pedestrian Aggie team.

We finished 4th in the SEC West, awesome.

So Miles is a little better than a coach who was just fired. Is that what it's come to?

I've lived in Atlanta for over 20 years and have watched Richt the whole time. The parallels to Les are plenty. I've said for years now that Richt and Miles are the same.

Both are universally hailed as good guys and are great recruiters who put a ton of guys into the NFL.

Both end up with good overall records, but don't beat the better teams on their schedules. Both of their teams play undisciplined. Both have struggled with QBs, with an exception here and there.

Glad to see UGA pull the trigger. Richt is a good guy, but won't have UGA consistently competing for championships. And that's the standard at programs like UGA and LSU.

End result - both Richt and Miles are good, but not great.

what? Since Miles hire no program has beaten more ranked team than lsu. It's like some of you live in this dream world where lsu hasn't just had the best decade of our history
