That people want a change at HC. I repeat, it is NOT for just 3 losses.

Again, NOT because of 3 losses.

This is for all you folks on the CCB that obviously do not watch LSU, and look at box scores. Although the box score would hint at some things.

Its 4 years of lackadaisical, unorganized, and uninspired football, combined with a slow decline in performance, and a CONTINUED stagnancy from the offense.

Les Miles is 0-10 when playing as the underdog. He's won MOST of the games he was expected to win, lost a few he was expected to win, and hasn't beat anyone he wasn't supposed to beat.

His win % is obviously skewed because he's been able to coach more games in 11 years at LSU than any coach ever.

So, stop with the fricking "y'all are dumbasses for firing a coach for 3 losses"

Just STFU, GTFO, and GFY. Thanks and God Bless.

I'm not sure you know how percentages work...

Yeah. That's not how this works. He was also the fastest to X wins in numbers of games played. Not in numbers of seasons. But point taken all the same.

Not only do you not know how percentages work, but the idiots who thought this whole thing was just over losing 3 games didn't deserve an explanation to begin with.

Looking forward to watching LSU collapse into Vanderbilt like depths after you fire the coach who only wins 10 games a year on average.

You are right. It is because of 5 losses.

And 13-10 in the SEC over the past 3 years.

On a downhill slide for years. The product on the field is a joke compared to the talent we've had.

Alabama went 30-2-1 from 1964-1966. They won 2 national championships and 3 SEC titles during that run. From 1967-1970 they went a combined 28-15-2. That includes a combined 14-11 record in the SEC. We got blown out by USC (21-42), Ole Miss (23-48), and Tennessee (0-24) in 1970. We got blown out by Tennessee (14-41) and Auburn (26-49) in 1969. We got blown out by Missouri (10-35) in the Gator Bowl at the end of the 1968 season.

Those were some mediocre seasons that followed one of the best runs Alabama had ever seen up to that time. What if Alabama had fired Bryant after those mediocre seasons like many fans wanted instead of retaining him as history records them doing? We wouldn't have finished out the 70s like we did. From 1971-1979, Alabama finished with a combined record of 97-11. In that total is included 3 national championships and 8 SEC championships.

I'm not trying to equate Les Miles to Bear Bryant but the man shouldn't be fired for entering a slump. He could very well finish 9-3 this year and will be returning a lot of starters in 2016.

Bear was smart and changed his scheme.

Les will not do this.

Bringing in a new OC will not work either, it would be Miles' 5th.

It's just time.

Did Les Miles tell you this personally? If it meant saving his job I have a feeling he'd alter his scheme the way Saban has altered his.

Are you perhaps leaving out that those are the years coincidentally, that it took to convince Bear to allow Black players on his team? I don't know but those years do look close to when he was destroyed by a USC team which started many black athletes and convinced Bear he needed to evolve. Not what Miles has done...

Skewed because he won more of those games. You see "coaching" in the games isn't the same as "winning" the game.

He has a higher winning % because he won a higher percentage of his games than anyone.

That has very little to do with it. Every other coach in the SEC was dealing with the same problem Bryant was at that time.
