You still hit her with the freezing cold hose or bring her inside in the shower?

If my dogs will jump in the lake/pond with ice in it, I dont think they mind the hose. My brittany though, is easier to just throw in the tub

A car wash in Destrehan has or had one of those, never tried it.

I just bring my labs outside and wash them, they never seem to mind. The younger one is sneaky though, if he gets into the bathroom when you're in the shower he'll open the door and jump in.

I don't wash my lab in the winter, the oil keeps him waterproof = warmer.

I limit baths to my black lab during winter for this very reason. Maybe two baths and it's certainly outside with a hose on a warmer day. They make 10-day weather forecasts and I live in the south. No way I'm cleaning my shower after that moose has been in it.

mine lab gets his outside 95% of the time. However I don't bathe him all that often.

the only time I bathe my lab is when he jumps in the sewer pond at the camp, and that gets done outside.

HA HA, I have a bloodhound too and found out the first few times I brought her in that she would jump right over in the shower but the hair left behind was a headache and not worth cleaning up. Outside is where she bathes now.

I have a GSD who loves the pool. Because of this, I have not bathed her in around 6 months. She loves the water even when it is freezing out. Anyways, I throw a ball or Frisbee in the water and put shampoo on her and repeat. This works better because she detests the shower.
