Calling for someone to lose their job in the middle of a successful season is sad. The team is young and need depth on both line of scrimmage and LB group and need experience in the secondary. Starting QB is in his first year playing a full season, backup QB has only one year experience under his belt. Give these guys a chance to develop, many of you have said before the season that next year is the year LSU should be compete for a championship so what changed. Amazing how some are calling for the firing of the coach when they themselves are not even living up to expectation in school or on their jobs. Like most LSU fans it is disappointing to lose another game to Alabama and to be beaten by Arkansas again for the second year in a row but LSU will be back to restore order again. Every dog has their day so let them enjoy. I promise you it wont be long lived.

A quick couple questions. When is this team ever not young? Why is the next year always going to be our year?

Sigh. Again, find another excuse. This one has been used for almost half a decade now.
The reason why they are "young" is because of uneven recruiting and shitty evaluation. You stay young when you recruit too many guys that aren't good enough to start.

You're wrong. LSU is big-time football, with huge expectations, huge pressures, and huge money. Everyone who coaches or plays here knows exactly what they're signing up for. They should expect criticism when not performing up to capabilities.
Also, nice job trotting out the "we're young" excuse, and then you blast anyone calling for Les' job by saying they're losers in life.
Embarrassing.

Define "successful season."
Not winning the SECW? Not even in the running for the SECW? No SEC Championship? No CFP, let alone a New Years Day bowl?
That's mediocrity.

And who's fault is that?

No. I support LSU not a coach who is running the program aground.

If I got paid $4 million a year, I would try a lot harder at my job.

I don't feel sorry for them.
I am a retired high school coach and my job was on the line a few times in my career in 24 years as a head coach -- and that wasn't in football. I understood that even though I didnt like it. I finished in the top 5 of career coaching wins in Texas, but that didn't make a difference my last season when we started 1-15 after losing 8 starters from a 33-5 season. We did go 17-4 the rest of the year and I retired gracefully even though I was told that my job status was still good.
Bottom line, we are paid to win and even in high school, if we don't, we get shown the door and nobody felt sorry for me. So I don't feel sorry for them especially for the money they make.
