I just saw this and was wondering the same thing. I know it's supposed to be bad....but like how bad is bad?

It could. The squall line should bring strong wind and cells in front could go tornadic. Hopefully it won't be necessary to let out, but probably better safe than sorry.

Considering most schools are nothing but oversized trailers, I think it's a good idea.

We're ok here in BR. Looks like it's moving north fast and not very much east. We may catch a few light bands, but nothing severe

Still blows here in New Orleans. I just wish school would've been cancelled 2 hours ago so I didn't have to take that test
