He was making improvements every year. I think we should have given him one more year to see if he could build on the playoff success

We made the mistake of not firing the team physicians, trainers, and everyone regarding their health.

When no knees is playing more minutes than anyone and playing well, nobody had an excuse. He almost became Brandon Roy.

Not sure why funny. He was making improvements every year after the CP3 trade.

You laugh, buy it's true. It was a questionable firing and something that seems to have made us take a step back thus far.

I believe it's absurd to jump to conclusions at this point given the circumstances.

I believe it's fair to see how gentry does in december and january before calling for monty back. If things are still really shitty by feb then we can think about taking a bomb to things.

I can guarantee if this team was say 3-7 and monty was still around the "get rid of this clown" threads would happen at monty. I'm not sure what keeping him around would've solved.

Not through the first 2 months of last season. We couldn't win 2 games in a row before Dell made midseason trades that improved the roster, so I would suggest we wait for the roster to improve before we evaluate Gentry.

Dude, Monty could have been 7-3 and some would be calling for his head.

I didn't understand the firing either. We're all frustrated from the lack of success, but we do not have a large enough sample size regarding Gentry and this roster to say that firing Monty was the wrong decision. All that has been said the past 2 seasons on this board was that AD is awesome, Gordon was tCornerstone that didn't wanna be here, and that Monty needed to be fired. I find the sudden love for Monty across the board to be hilarious.

Absolutely Dempsey should have been canned. But Monty had to go

Can we at least wait until we see Gentry with the same tools as Monty and 5% of the time with them until we start firing people?

January will be the telling month. By then he should have Tyreke and Pondexter back long enough to shake off rust.Cole may be back and maybe Jrue will be playing more than 17-18 mins.

If they are still this bad when Feb starts, I will be first in line to criticize Gentry.
