Good point, and that has some merit. I think if playing time/consequences were based more on that we would see improvement. But newsflash: Dupre and Dural will play no matter how many balls they drop, and they know that. They are talented and mix in some good plays too.

Even Jerry Rice dropped balls in games. And I agree it's on his coach to figure out what's going wrong and fix it. Whether it is lack of focus, an injury, bad technique, or whatever. I know Dural and spoke to him after the Florida game. I gave him a hard time about his drops and ragged him about dropping an easy flat route against UF. He said his coaches ripped him a new one on the sideline after that play and threatened to bench him. He turned around and had a very solid game. With that being said, and getting back on topic, Ball addressed the issue and productivity increased. So, at least in that respect, he is doing a good job.
