Washing machines, dryers, fridge, oven and dishwashers...Which brands are the least serviced and most reliable on the market? If you could sell one brand, which would it be?

Probably could search it but I believe Napolean said Speed Queen is the way to go with Washers.

Samsung is severely overrated and overpriced. I have put Kenmore in a lot of houses I have flipped and built and it still seems to be the best reasonably priced option with quality.

I bought a Speed Queen washer about a month ago based on Napoleon's recommendation. The wife loves it. She would buy it again.

Your wife isn't gonna like this, but generally the cheaper and less fancy the appliance, the longer it's gonna last

Consumer Reports rates the reliability of major appliances based on their annual survey of 115,000 users. It's pretty spot on. Either subscribe to the on-line magazine or check a copy at your library.

BTW, Speed Queen is the highest rated top-loading washer by a pretty wide margin.

I find it funny that my old house had a water heater that was 40 years old and was still working, and my new house needed a new one after 7 years.

My appliances now are all very basic, and they haven't broken yet. When they do, I'll just buy another cheap one because they seem to last the longest
