How Many Melting Fans Even Thought LSU Was A Playoff Contender This Year?

How many of you 7-5 prediction guys thought lsu was even going to be in the playoff conversation before the season?
Watching the same roaches come out the wood work after the first loss of the season, you would think everyone thought this was the year.
Most reasonable people thought lsu was a year ahead of schedule. It's obvious we are.
If that isn't obvious to some of you then you really shouldn't be taken serious in football discussion.
This has nothing to do with Alabama although many of you are melting because your pathetic Bama obsession is showing.

We've been a year away for the past four years it seems

You are just as delusional as the other extreme. Nobody knows before the season what a teams ceiling is. This team has the talent and ability to play for it all but to get there you have to beat Alabama and for the fifth straight time Miles has failed to come up with any sort of gameplan to attack their weaknesses. Same plan same results. I guess it's gonna take ten in a row for some people to see it.

I thought we were 9-3 at best

You, like Les Miles' offense, will always suck.

We're a year away every year.

Most of them thought 9-3. Negas thought 7-5 but given where we are there is no excuse for this kind of offensive shite. It is not the loss, it is not going for a win aggressively.

Not really. The losses of juniors in 2012 and 2013 set up the team for being really young in 2014, young but experienced in 2015 and loaded in 2016.

LSU has had a very good year. It's just that the fans and the team want to beat Bama - it's just the way it is.

I can see this type of criticism. I'm in the same boat. I was at the game last night and was mad we weren't throwing more on early downs.

If we win out we still have a shot... team just needs to work their arse off and not give up like last season

Here come the Miles' boot lickers.

I predicted an undefeated season

we can win out and should. we have the talent. we just can't run between the tackles on bama and can't control either LOS. everyone else we have a great chance to beat 35-28 as long as Ricky Jefferson is not our FS.
we're lucky we didn't lose Harris last night.

Why is it against the rules to believe that an 11-1 season is a success?

The easy answer is for another team to beat Alabama for us. Otherwise, we need the Big 12 to cannibalize itself and some other things to go our way. A Michigan win over Ohio St. would be huge.
