I was a student worker at LSU, we Launched at sandollar. Started taking water samples 3 miles out of the pass, took a sample and water clarity every mile until we got picked up on the north side of lake des allemands. I think it was almost 90 miles.
It was like 35 degrees that day. Thank god I was the driver and didn't have to mess with the water.
