Never seen nothing like it before. They are very concerned
If I were a Bama fan, I'd be concerned too. They know LSU is dangerous and plays them well every year, but this year we're not lacking a glaring piece like a quarterback or a defense. They know with one loss already, if LSU is able to put a beat down on them, then the whole Bama narrative would be shattered, other teams would play more confident in their chances to beat them, and recruiting would suffer. Heck, LSU has been holding their own with recruiting even with our current dry spell against them on the field.

I'm sure it bugs them that we won't just submit to them and play dead, and that we've stayed close to regaining the upper hand for years. Maybe this is the year.

Who would you say is the best team lsu has played up to this point. Florida, and you played them at home. UGA will beat them and that will not look like a good win. State, come on now although I'll give you credit it was lsu first game of the year. You didn't even have to go the SC. This will be the first test of the year for BH. We beat you last year with a RB playing QB. Les or CC can't develop a QB. CC was fired about half way through a NFL season with the team going nowhere. He leave and they win the Super Bowl. Again all of you are hoping he don't fold, you can talk all this his the best. At the end of the day all you got is hope he don't fold!

What are you blathering about? Brandon harris hasnt been tested and cam cameron's nfl career?

I'll be brief: Alabama has played 3 sec games at home, and has trailed in the second half in all 3. What makes you think that trend reverses in your favor against the best team they'll face all year, with the best player in the country on that team.

Hell you haven't played anyone. You guys keep bragging on Florida and will all know uga beats that gator arse

Its cute that you spout off we haven't played anyone. Tell me...who has Bama played again? Who is ya'lls best win? 6-2 Wisconsin?

Lets examine Wisconsin's 6 wins:
(1-8) Miami OH
(2-5) Troy
(2-6) Hawaii
(3-5) Nebraska
(1-6) Purdue
(4-3) Illinois

That win over 6-2 Wisconsin sure looks pretty on paper. except that Wisconsin's wins were over opponents that have gone 13-33.

Next? We wrecked A&M at their place Pawl! The same A&M that got blown out by Ole Miss and is currently unranked?

But UGA! The unranked team starting their 3rd string QB tomorrow? But hey congratulations on sharing an accomplishment with 4 loss Tennessee.

Our win over Florida is more impressive than anything Bama has accomplished this year. Lets not forget, that Florida team we beat completely demolished the Ole Miss team that beat Alabama at home (btw remember when Memphis did what Alabama couldn't ). Lets also not forget how close that Ole Miss game was to being a complete blowout. I seem to recall Ole Miss dropping an interception at mid-field in a 30-10 game late in the 3rd quarter. A score there to make it 33-10 or 37-10 would have pretty much sealed that game and destroyed your false hopes of a championship season. Congrats on the dropped pick and the lucky onside kick to avoid being blown out though.

Have been in most years. The difference has always been QB play and Bama has been better there. If you do nothing but switch the QB in the NC years we win it every year they did.

Vegas thinks the majority of bettors think that. That is the chronic bettors who bet high every week along with the dunces. Vegas win either way. On a neutral field and with out the need to pull more juice out of the public, they would say Bama by three IMHO.

Ala15bama - watch where you are at. Your Bama homerism and extreme arrrogance is not welcomed. Be cool if you can be.

Would not be surprised. I am pretty sure one hack job of a tiger MB (not this one) has shills post the same ol' crap to get a rise and to push an agenda. That is their personal beef with a few folks within LSU's heirarchy and oh yeah to push taffic and increase subscriptions:).

QB has been the main difference. Now we have one that has shown consistency and has the potential to play well vs. their D. We had Mett in 2013. But Mett did not have BH's mobility and escapability.

This sounds like what Bama fans said before November of 2011.

Harris is better at quarterback

Coker is pretty solid at QB, but Harris is a better runner. Edge to Harris

Fournette and company are better at running back

We probably have 3 backs better than Henry

quote:

we have a better offensive line than Bama

Bama probably has better physical talent on o-line but we are playing as a more cohesive unit in the run game. Edge LSU.

Wr's LSU has the more highly recruited group but Bama's Ridley is already a big time playmaker.
Edge to Bama just based on Ridley.

quote:

We have a better field goal kicker but our special teams are worse overall.

True.

quote:

Your defense is better than ours but you will still have your hands full

Defensive line and linebackers big edge to Bama.

DB's LSU has more experienced talent but Bama is also loaded with talent. LSU's DB's not playing up to where you would expect them to but neither is Bama's. Maybe a tossup.

Intangibles, edge to LSU. While LSU is always at a talent disadvantage, especially in the trenches, in this game, it's not as big this year. But always makes up for it by playing extra tough in this game (other than 1/9). LSU/Miles, other than 1/9, always has a better game plan and always has the team super fired up for this game. Edge to LSU.

Refs, big edge to Bama and it may come down to this being the difference.

This game is a toss up with perhaps a slight to big lean to Bama (due to the ref advantage and how far they may be willing to go)

take the refs out of the equation and slight lean to LSU due to Fournette.

Really this game all comes down to the refs. The national media spotlight may be enough to keep them in check.

You have to go back to 2010 to find a regular season game where they lost by more than a score. It's gonna be close.

If you believe this, you haven't watched Bama this year. I would say that we're equally as bad on special teams.

You would sound like a homer if you said one better (obvious) and one equal to Henry. Henry is far better than Williams.

Actually, all you have is hope that he does, but there's been no indication this year that he will.

Look, it's very simple. Just look at the latest games. After seeing LSU's performances against FL and WKU and Bama's performance against TN, I really like our chances.

meh. Guice is better by a long way. So for Williams, he's as fast as Henry and runs harder, so I put him a head of Henry as well. I think Williams is way underrated. Henry is a pretty good back but we just have better backs.
