I am in technical sales and work a lot with customers and engineers on projects, I can't tell you how many times a customer will just straight up ignore or delete a work related email and act like they never got it. A simple, "thanks we got the problem solved" etc. "I'm not interested"
I wouldn't even a mind a response of "go kill yourself"

Work is overrated and work emails are a pain in the arse usually.

This was commonplace in the 50's.

You're in sales, you are in the single most ignorable profession there is.

Are you emailing their work emails from the work place?

You have never ignored a co-workers email? Why would someone do this? Maybe they are doing something that takes priority over what the email is in relation to. Maybe its something that has been discussed several times and you are not going to waste your time telling that person the same shite. Maybe its something that is better discussed in person and while it would be nice if that person would let you know, they got tied up doing something else & forgot.

So you expect people to respond to every email you send? Whatever you email them is much more important than anything else?

If you send me an unsolicited email to my work email address, I promptly delete it and block the sender's email address.

Only option left is to show up at the customers office and call them out on it.

I opened this thread expecting it to be your coworkers ignoring your emails. But customers? They have no obligation to reply to your emails. If you want your customers to reply to your emails, then send them something that will make them feel compelled to send a reply.

Are we to assume since you're in tech sales you're spamming the shite out of potential customers with the "Hey check out this product!" emails?

Because we get shite like that in education from companies we just happened to buy some kind of software from and that shite goes right to the spam folder.

In a typical 24 hour period it is not uncommon for me to get 500+ emails. It would be impossible to catch every email that warranted my attention. Now every phone call my way is answered though.

I never realized that there was an invisible army of sales people out there secretly pissed that I never give a personal answer to their spammed out product launch press releases.
