Thread idea is simple, post pics of deer that you want age or score guessed on. This should help keep the board a little cleaner. Also any pics of deer that you have had on camera and then been lucky enough to score at a later date would be appreciated. It will help us all get better at guessing scores.

First one best bet is 4 1/2 but terrible pic so i'm not standing by that really.... Second deer is a true 3 1/2 shows all the signs perfectly.

1st deer I'm saying is 4.5 maybe higher but I can't tell. Great spread, beam length and mass. Tine length is good not great. As an 8 it's going to be hard to score high. I'm guessing 130 max, still would shoot in an instant.

2nd deer is 3.5. Score is probably between 115 and 125. Better brows or mass would bump up. Hard to run up an 8 very far.

I'll post another example of one that everyone on this board would shoot but it would never even sniff booner status due to being a main frame 8.

I have this guy at 4.5 and around 140 gross. Good mass, spread and decent tine length. This pic doesn't show it but also has split right brow tine, matching kickers on the G2 will help with gross but work at killing net.

Here he is last year, same frame but has added mass and a bit of length.

Here ya go. Just right click on the pic and copy picture URL, then paste it in the IMG markup.

ETA - pretty deer. I'd say 3.5 and 120ish.

What about this guy. Brow tines suck but the rest looks good. Weight = 180-200lbs?

That's a pretty buck that won't score well. It looks mature but with those angles it's hard to tell. Lack of brows will hurt that one. I would still shoot.

I would pass on him - if that is in Tensas, you will see bigger.

That's a damn fine deer even for Tensas. It all depends where he's hunting in Tensas but still a shootable buck IMO.
