Lots of folks probably didn't follow things as closely as we did here and may not have learned of all the details till late yesterday or even today on how tickets were being handled. I think you will see more volume of sales today and then the general public will get their share this evening thru game time.

I'll say there are about 55-60k tickets sold for this one by gametime

You must have edited your post? I don't see where the caller gave his seat location.

We should all pitch it and fly SC fans down here, buy their tickets, their food, their hotel rooms, and let them put their fingers inside us.

LET'S MAKE THEM FEEL WELCOME!!!!

That's true. Every time a natural disaster occurs and they move the game 13 hours away into TS 3 days in advance, the crowds suck! It's an embarrassment.

I'm not making that comment based off of ticket sales for this game. I've said since yesterday that 60,000 would be a good number. I made that comment because some have shown confusion as to why the season ticket holders haven't bought up their seats. The reason is that many of the season ticket holders rarely show up anyway. There seat is not always empty because they give away/sell their tickets when they don't go. Having new people every week in prime seats who really don't have much invested into the Tigers is why so many leave at halftime now or don't get that into the game. LSU is truly a "big game" crowd because that's when all the season ticket holders show up.

I cant believe it would cost a couple $150 on tickets alone to see a damn college football game.

And a couple spends how much on average to see a shitty NFL game ?

I think a lot of the tickets in the nice areas have become corporate owned and the companies don't really know or care that they are open. They just buy season tickets.

I hear ya.

I don't think things are what they used to be either, but most things are not. Prices are out of control. Lots of people keeping their tickets just because they've always had them. Students don't get in on their ID's anymore.

And of course TV.

Makes me wonder what the percentage of season ticket holders live outside a 3-4 hour radius of Baton Rouge.

I bet at least 5-10% live in Houston

How high up do you need to be in sec 103,104,105 to see over the players? Is 12 rows up enough?

12 should be enough. Some of the players stand on the benches. I had seats on row 5 before and it was too low. I believe I sat on row 13 or 14 before and it was fine. But people in front of you may be standing to see.

are all SEC games at TS face valued with a minimum starting price of 75?

It would seem like, on such short notice, if they wanted to pack the place out they would start the tickets at a $35 minimum similar to EMU and McNeese.

I can't believe the face value of this game is the same as face value of UF. This game should at worst be face value minimum of Arkansas ($55)

Thanks man. My season seats are 13 rows up corner of N end zone.
I like that height but didn't want to be in the sun so this is the first time on the West side for me. Last night I bought sec 105 row 12 and I was hoping it wasn't too low.

Back at you.

I wish I lived close enough to come to more than 2-3 games per year. Coming to FL game and with tickets (I need 4 and people want crazy amounts), hotel, meals, gas, I will spend probably $1600+.

The actual game is only part of it for me. I get to campus at 8am for a night game. I don't have a tailgate to go to, so we go to Chimes/Varsity, hit the bookstore, the TAF deal in the PMAC, watch the band and go in to the stadium early.

I leave when the band is packing up their instruments and the sheriffs are telling us to leave.

My point is that if the game is only about the game for a person, it is way better on TV. If for no other reason, I don't have to listen to some knucklehead who thinks he would do a better job calling plays.

What sections does the student section occupy? I can make a pretty good guess based on where I see it every week, but curious what the exact sections are. I am looking to buy in the NEZ when seats are released to general public tonight.

The band is in section 217. Student section is the entire NW corner of the NEZ
