Does anyone ever actually fight during these bench-clearing events in baseball? Or do they all just act like little bitches and talk shite?

I'll let royals fans field this one.

It would be dumb to start throwing punches and get suspended for the playoffs.

In the regular season, then?

Exactly. Was really impressed with the discipline the team had, especially being so young.
Although I kind of wish we could have added Kyle Farnsworth to the roster for our playoff run for situations like this.

Guy had a rough night. Put in for the defensive advantage he offers...commits error. Lifted before he ever got an AB. Went bananas, and got tossed from a game that he'd already been removed from.
Also, he looks stupid.

He was removed from the game and if anyone was going to go batshit, I guess it would be wise for that one guy to be someone who can't be used again in that game. But I'm afraid that's giving Sean Rodriguez too much credit.

can we just talk about how fricking great it was that jake stole 2nd after that whole debacle. Just really wish dexter's blooper had landed and jake scored just for one extra frick you for going beanball in a game that was already over.

It was awesome. I was on the phone with my Dad and we said pretty much simultaneously "He just stole second!!"

I was seriously hoping someone would knock his arse out. When he started "beating up" the gatorade cooler, I started feeling sorry for him. He looked like a complete douche. He was acting like a child for the entire world to see.

He really destroyed the baseball. Geez.

Great article in the Chicago Tribune this morning about this team. This season has been so much damn fun. And the sky is the limit...I wouldn't be surprised at anything that happens going forward, good or bad. Going to enjoy this ride for at least 3 more games.

just going to say, i love Castro's attitude change.
dude almost beat out that dribbler earlier in the game. I see him smiling, having fun, getting chummy with his teammates. all around his attitude has changed and its awesome
And those DP's he turned last night looked gold glove caliber.

His postgame interview with Len Kasper on the radio, right after the game ended was awesome. Sounded like he was having a blast. I know winning has to be fun, but playing well and being a major contributor down the stretch had to feel great. You could hear it in his voice.
