Anyone know why Tre Roberson isn't starting for Illinois State?

Who was the coach at McNeese during all of their major success in the SLC and DII playoffs? What has changed since?
I see they are ranked, but if I remember correctly, they were the more in the top half during the 90's early 2000's. NO?

Glad PSU remained in the Top 25.
UND will be 6-1 by the time they head to Missoula for a showdown with the Griz.

The SLC is about right IMO but Lamar and UCA are good teams that should be right on the cusp of getting in. UCA has a bad lost to Samford in week 1, but have been playing well since then and pounded ACU this weekend. The fact that SHSU is #11 is laughable. They have 0 defense, Conque shredded them Saturday, and their two quarterback system (and play) would make some high schools laugh at how bad it is. The Pokes are undefeated but who have they really played? It's really hard to rank them. Lastly, I have no idea how to feel about my Lions. We play like we did against Lamar, minus the turnovers, and we run through our schedule, but play like how we did against FIT then we get at least 2 more losses. I'm happy with where they are in this poll, but AGS has them 14, and some voters as high as 10.
This game Saturday will be HUGE, and unless the winner chokes, should get the auto bid.

Keesler who ended up at ULM
I thought it was discipline thing but he played a bunch (Roberson)

Bobby Keesler.
Made several deep runs into the playoffs and probably should have won the national title in 1997 or 1998, cant remember the year. Lost by a couple of points, had a dropped td that led to a field goal, an incidental face mask on 3rd and goal gave the other team an extra shot and they scored a td following the penalty. Heartbreaking loss in the finals.
I think he may have still been the head coach in the early 2000s when McNeese made the championship game again, but lost handily in that game.

Kavika Pittman made 30 tackles vs us I swear
We set school records that night for punts, punt yardage, and net punting in a game.
We punted 13 or 14 times.
What a way to open the year and with a new coach

Keasler was the coach until he left in 1999.
Bruchaus took over then resigned a year later.
Tommy Tate was the HC 2000-2006. He peaked in 2002 making a repeat trip to the NC.
His players had discipline issues however and amid rumors he was sleeping with cheerleaders coupled with a 1-3 start in 06, he got fired.
The 2003 season was a turning point for McNeese. After being the top ranked team and getting housed in the first round, the program has never been the same.

I'm starting to believe that this team is for real this year.
If somehow Daniel Sams can complete passes between 7-11 yards, he'd be a complete QB. The defense is for real as well.
Going to the game Saturday vs. SELA I think that game will tell us alot as far as where we are at.

I'll definitely be there for this one, about to start looking for tix.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this team. If we lose to Southeastern, I may renew my Viator hate, but its on hold right now.

Thumb injury. Not sure the severity. Kolbe is a red shirt freshman and has looked solid though.

I don't know how to feel either about the Lions. At ohio, we had them close losing 21-14 then we gave up two tds and lost 35-14. I didn't expect to beat them. Just thought that was closer than I was expecting with our starting qb out and a few others.
I hate to single out number 80, but he dropped two sure TD's Thursday night. WR's need to catch wide open passes.
