Great win last night guys. You guys know the drill.... GRAIN OF SALT!
-The young guys showed out. Glad it showed in the PFF stats.
-We have a bright future at LB. FINALLY! I feel like we've been waiting for a successful LB pick for decades.
-The interior DL showed up. John Jenkins finally showed us something.
-The front 7 have the best scores here - this is really encouraging against a very stout Cowboys offensive line.
-Very nice coverage grade for Breaux. Lost a lot on penalties. Bright future for this guy.
-Lewis' score is for penalties- seems to have been a nonfactor otherwise.
-Not a good game for Swann. Still like him a lot.
-Feed the Snead.
-Very nice score for Spiller on so few snaps.
-Hill graded decent in run blocking. He's a decent receiving weapon, so if he can blossom into a great blocker we will be able to have much less predictable looks.
-I'm sure Peat's score is due to those mauling blocks he had on the 2nd touchdown drive. Impressive.
-Armstead came back to earth this week it seems - probably due to injury. Still had a very good pass blocking score.
-Most of the OL got manhandled.
-Cooks, #ungood

I agree with most of those but not Strief. He got man handled the entire night.

How in the hell did Strief get graded so highly? He was getting his arse whipped last night.

Is Swann playing FS for y'all?

Cooks looks timid and gets lost in the offense. I know he is getting taken out, but he is to good to just disappear.
Kikaha is making me feel stupid for spending 20 minutes cursing at the TV when he was our pick in the second round. 3 sacks in 4 games ... he was the steal of the draft.

Old man Kevin Williams needs some big time props. I thought he was going to be Champ Bailey pt 2 but he's actually holding his own making some very nice complementary plays with these younger guys.

A pair of forced fumbles, too. How do you like those pineapples?

Surprised Swann graded so low. Compared to Browner, Breaux, and still injured Lewis I thought Damien was our "lockdown" CB by default last night.

He has that "Old Man" Strength!! Seriously though, strength is the last to go (speed and explosiveness being first). He still has the strength to anchor the middle of the line.

Breaux is our best CB now and is getting better. Eventually he will take that spot even with a healthy KL.

No I'm not sure why he's listed as that.
He's played corner for the vast majority of his snaps and has done a really good job. He's the slot CB of the future and has some versatility if they want to use him as a S.
This was his worst game and still was respectable.

KWill has played really well and I'm sure he's taught the youngsters a few things. It's great for them to have a vet presence like that.

Oh ok. I thought Swann was going to suck dick when yall drafted him tbh. He wasn't really all that impressive at Georgia to me. Some people liked him a lot though.

Where does Kikaha grade out overall for his position this season? He has to be near the top.
Man I am excited about the future of this defense.

Another week without a snap from Obum Gwacham.
I don't understand.

Kikaha is 6th overall for 4-3 OLB's.
He's first for run defense.
But it's the lack of consistent pass rush that keeps him down.
Once he gets that figured out, he'll be unstoppable.

Question-- do you have a premium PFF subscription? Sounds like they aren't offering new ones anymore and wanted to clarify that that is the case. Was hoping to get an account. Appreciate you posting these BTW.

I had some high hopes for Kikaha, but he's doing better than I expected to this point. The run defense is a nice surprise.
