especially at home. they played damn hard tonight. if not for their qb struggles in the first half we might have been upset; thanks to our friggin' penalties and dropped passes.

I don't know how the 27 point line was justified by the bettors. in tiger stadium maybe, but that dome is loud as shite.

They may not make a bowl game this year.

No they aren't good. They won't even be .500 in the ACC.

They're a terrible team.

Penalties were the only reason Syracuse was in that game.

They're a middle of the pack Power 5 team. A 10 point win going away on the road is nothing to be ashamed of. Kept your Heisman contender in play and learned more about the qb. Syracuse will win 6-7 games this year.

We made them look better than they are IMO (and many others). Their quarterback looked HORRIBLE in the first half. This game should have been put away early. We let them hang around.

Cuse kept LSU honest with a 5th string walk on QB. LSU defense should be concerned.

They are not a good team. They're QB was a 5th string Walkon whose talent showed why.

LSU was so much more talented than SU it was ridiculous. LSU played like dog shite and not only were the penalties abundant, they were seemingly all at the worst times. Negated one touchdown for us, and constantly put us in 3rd and long situations. Also extended some SU drives that were dead in the water.

2 road games, 2 penalty fests for LSU. Bama and OM will both be losses with that type of trend. SC will be a tougher game than it should.

Grandad,

I think 'Cuse played better than we did today. I think although they were outmatched physically they played smarter, less penalties and at some (not all) times played harder than LSU did. They should be credited for their effort.

However that's not the same as them being "pretty good". We let a 5th string walkon QB make enough plays to have his confidence grow. The long TD was a coverage bust.
And every drive they had benefitted from a personal foul or PI penalty.

That doesn't scream pretty good to me. I think their upside is 3-4 ACC wins We will see.

I think a more accurate critique is they played hard and hung tough today and took advantage of our mistakes.

I don't know what team you watched but they were not good in this game. LSU would've covered the spread easily if it wasn't for all the penalties.

Syracuse might go 6-6.

Is that pretty good?

Depends on who you are I guess.

They have ZERO four and five star players. And their QB is a walk on who couldn't be the lsu water boy. Let that sink in for a minute.

That dome is NOT loud as shite, you must have had your hearing aid up too loud. Or were you even there?
