I think logistically it would be easier to do that to Airline.
Anything would be cheaper than the loop/newer bridge.

yep...and makes more sense....so many businesses on Florida

Florida has service roads already in place. I would think most large intersections would have overpasses to give Fla the right of way. Smaller intersections could be blocked.

The problem is that Airline goes too far north to efficiently move east bound traffic wanting to take I-10. However, it is great for traffic wanting to eventually take I-49 north towards Alexandria.
