New defense for anyone of color doing something to a white person "they used a racial slur"
Posted on 9/21/15 at 8:06 pm to rsbd
More than likely the white not was beating him the whole game, he became frustrated because he was getting whipped on the line and retaliated stupidly. Then used the N word as a get out of jail free card.
Anyone who has ever played high school football knows that the black kids think whitey sucks and when they are better they resort to cheap shots and such

This is used all the time, guess when they're "leaders" in the community do it all the time it's to be expected.

You have to be trolling.
I think you lathered it on a bit too much near the end of the last page. No one is going to believe you hold that degree of ignorance and bias that close to your heart.
"It takes two to tango"
"historical precedent"

im just confused as to why the "race card" is so improbable considering everything that's ever gone on. It's suggest this notion that black people are liars and we couldn't possibly use a racial epithet towards them. And what I'm saying is that most there's a lot of instances in the past that objectively refute that notion.
So we can conviently act as if its propaganda again, but we'd be making the same ill minded mistakes our dads, uncles and grandfathers did

The point is...
So what if a word was used? That doesn't excuse ripping a helmet off another player and hitting across the forehead with it.
What ever happened to "sticks and stones"?

I offered no explanation. I noted a similarity.
By the way. Id like to point out that you were 100% wrong in your noting of a perceived similarity.
You were under the assumption that two players that hit the ref were black. You were wrong. Want to own up to it???

So does this cat go around hitting his friends that call him that?
when they quit using that word to talk to each other, then it can be derogatory word, until then, it's just another word.

I hope one day people realize that racial slurs don't give you an excuse to use violence.

Yep, would be glad to own up to it.
All 5 assailants were minorities that pulled the race card after the fact.
2 were not black.
I was wrong. I based my assumption of their race on their appearance in the video where they IMO look dark skinned. I was wrong

Which had nothing to do with your original stance or comments...as the bolded portion had not yet occurred at that time.

If saying this doesnt make you feel uncomfortable you are on a level that will be hard to reach.

On this site/board any use of terminology to describe a non Caucasian makes me uncomfortable in general.
However, I have no idea why you think it would make me uncomfortable to say they looked African American or black (the race) because their arms and legs in the video were black (the color) or at least dark brown. Just like the ref looked white (the race) because his skin was off white(the color). Maybe my eyes deceived me. Maybe they were wearing leggings and sleeves which seems popular now days even in scorching heat. I was wrong. I have no problems admitting that.

No the fact that you think it mattered is what should make you uncomfortable. I mean there is veiled racism. There is even stereotyping. Then there is what youve done. With only (incorrectly perceived) anecdotal evidence, you have correlated certain actions with certain skin colors. You think that blacks are more likely to lash out violently on the field. This is unfounded.

Typical excuse from the player. Even if he did use a slur, so what. Can't let that get under your skin in a game
And I'll add, black HS athletes often use the words "white boys" or "honkeys" in games. It cuts both ways out there.
Suspension upheld.
