A high school football player in New Jersey has been accused of removing a player’s helmet then using it as a weapon against him during a game.

Video evidence shows a Linden High defensive end taking off an Immaculata High offensive lineman’s helmet then hitting him across the forehead with it after a play.

I won't comment because my final HS game ended in an all out brawl.

Every race was represented

I'd be interested to know what sort of punishment he gets. If I were his coach and had wittnessed this, I'd have kicked him off the team and had him arrested right there on the spot in front of God, his momma, and everyone.

Remember that time the big guy from Dallas Carter kicked the helmet back into the face of the qb from Permian High Mike Winchell?

All I will say on this matter is that many people are looking at all of this blind and with excuses(not on tigerdroppings but nationally).

So what was the explanation of the video i posted? Is it only when they do it that race matters?

I offered no explanation. I noted a similarity.

I hold disdain for every person that acts this way. I had just as many negative things to say about the Arkansas fans fighting after their loss, and about Turley tossing a helmet into the stands a few years back.

Causation? Lack of fathers at home? drug use? lack of concern about any real penalty? cultural acceptance or excuse for the behavior? national media encouragement of the activity? lack of emphasis on education?

Lots of possible reasons.

Seeing developing patterns however, does not make me somehow wrong.
