I tried telling him to back off nicely and explain my reasoning but it just doesn't compute w/ this guy; he thinks he's returning the favor for the random shite I do for them but in reality its getting on my fricking nerves.

Maybe he's tired of you doing random stuff for him, and this is his way of getting you back. Probably tells his wife the same thing you told us.

Seriously, if he does a good job, don't sweat it. Maybe it's one of the few pleasure he gets to enjoy. Doing something for others. Just go with it.

I'm old and you would love me for a neighbor because I would never present this problem to you. I promise.

If I want to cut MY grass on my free time then that's my perogative. You can go frick yourself

And it's not I like I help him all the time. He asked me to help build his deck once and to watch his house while he was on vacation

My next door neighbors are a really sweet retired couple and are great except for the fact the old man keeps cutting my front lawn while I'm at work. I actually enjoy doing the yardwork cause its my only justifiable excuse to get some sun on my 1 day off a week.

wow, you are bitching about this. I understand feeling a bit guilty, but you are bitching about this.....

Tell him in return you'll mow his wife's lawn.

Old people need to be needed.

Cutting grass may be the only thing he can do anymore.

Quit being so self-centered and let the old man be happy by cutting your grass!

If this is the worst problem you have, be thankful.

If you live in Slidell, let me know. It might be my grandfather and I can tell him to stop. He cuts his neighbor's yard all the time

I moved into a new house recently and there's about 2 feet of grass between my driveway and the neighbors.
Property line goes pretty much down the middle.

When i cut the grass, i cut it all. 46" lawnmower, 24" of grass, no brainer.
when the idiot mexicans come cut my neighbors on their 54" zero turn, they cut half of it. makes the small span of grass look stupid. Just cut all of the fricking grass.

Just because he is mowing it doesn't mean that you can't also mow it.

Mine started doing the same about a year ago, I weed eat and edge both of our yards, he does the mowing. I felt the same way when he first started doing it, now I don't even know where my push mower is.

Tell him he can come to my house and mow my entire f*cking lawn!!!

Don't be so ungrateful. You can mow your back yard and spend the time you would be mowing your front yard to do some gardening and beautification projects.
