The Saints settled for field goals on three of their drives inside the Texans' 20-yard line Sunday, making them just two for their last seven in such situations.

Without the hulking 6-foot-6 Graham as a safety valve, they are discovering that scoring touchdowns isn't as easy as tossing a jump ball in the general vicinity of No. 80 and watching the ensuing goal-post dunk.

He would have played the first drive only, so the article is silly

We also struggled in the red zone last year finishing out of the top 5 despite being the #1 offense. Remember the goal line stands vs Cincy and ravens. That won't happen with Unger

Let's see our red zone offense when we can dump it off to CJ Spiller and move the sticks that way

Saints missing the run game where it matters the most because Payton likes to to 5 wide shotgun on the 4 yard line

Hmmm, wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that McCown and Grayson were under center for several of those drives, would it?

Well no shite, Graham was arguably the #1 red zone target in the league. Of course they're gonna miss him.

Maybe if the Saints would stop being so stubborn in the red zone and attempt some power running they would score more TD's.

Graham wouldn't have caught the fade that was thrown to Hill yesterday either. Just wasn't a great throw by Brees. The Colemsn drop from Brees in game 2 was an issue bc we are expecting him to make those plays and he looked shaky on a perfect ball by Brees. He didn't catch it clean which allowed the DB to break it up.

Looks like Fauria in Detroit is on his way out. He's a good red zone guy. I remember somebody bringing him up a few weeks ago as someone to look out for. Maybe we give him a look.

Where was Jimmy last year in the red zone?

This article is pointless. Our 1's played one series.

Has the season started yet? I'm ready.

Jimmy isn't really elevating the Seahawks red zone scoring either.

Thread is stupid. Preseason.

Call me when we can't score more than 10 ppg by week 3.

Saints have sucked in the red zone for quite some time now. Jimmy didn't seem to help a whole lot last season

This is dumb to even write about.

Try again after some regular season games go by...
