Just looking at my season tickets and noticed that face value ticket prices are different. Mcneese $35, Eastern Michigan $25, Western Kentucky $30,Auburn $95, Florida $80, A&M $85 and Arkansas $75. I know conference games were always higher than non-conference, but is this the first time for all different prices and why?

I have a B.S. in Accounting, and I tell you little man, it's something called supply and demand.

What is the customer willing to spend???

Not that long ago conference and non conference game tickets were the same price.

The SEC told universities that they could no longer charge 25$ a ticket (face value) and back charge $$$$ in fees. The gate is split between schools (not 50/50, but it is split). To keep money with the university , schools would put ridiculously low face values on the tickets.

No, it's not the first year they've done this. The reason is pretty simple: people are willing to pay more to see LSU v. Auburn than LSU v. UF this year

No the first time, but it is crazy how shitty the home schedule is making such a disparity in the prices.

It aids tremendously in maximizing the revenue on single game tickets.
