There's nothing on your left side except kidney and bowels.

The spleen, left pleura, diaphragm, referred pancreatic or gastric pain, etc. beg to differ.

Yep.

Could also be an ectopic pregnancy.

How would you rate the pain, zero being no pain to 10 being the worse ever? Any fever, nausea.

I had this for a while and was surprised that it was indeed gallstones. I didn't think I would have gallstone pain on the left side, but that's what it was. If the pain isn't getting any worse, you should be able to wait. I finally ended up having emergency surgery about six months later, and at that point the pain was so bad that I knew I had to get to a hospital. I couldn't lay down and had a constant pain wrapped around my chest, but I still waited about 6 hours that night before finally admitting I needed to head to the ER. FWIW, I haven't had the pain since and feel a lot better overall now that it's out!

The last time I blew off a nagging pain I ended up in the hospital for five days with a case of the Crohn's. Don't worry though, yours is probably just the aids.

Diverticulitis is the only event that refers pain to left side.

You should go to the doctor no later than the start of the second trimester.

Huh. Are you suggesting that only diverticulitis can cause left sided pain?

At least it's not a rectal fistula considering the reputation.

Paige, go to the damn doctor! And beware what some of these morons are posting on here. I swear, this thread should be required reading for med students so they can get an idea of what kind of misinformation people spread on social media.

Best time to go to the emergency room is at 9am. Full staff usually on and get looked at the quickest.

Friend had same issue and turned out to be massive kidney infection. I brought her in a few minutes after 9am and she was on an antibiotic drip within 20 minutes at Baylor in dwntn Dallas.

Hate Baylor fans... but their hospitals are top notch.

Just woke up. It still hurts

But I'm gonna tough it out until tomorrow because I feel like urgent care won't know and I'll still have to go to my regular doctor

Thanks for all your concerns

just so you know.
drinking is a suger convert, and being so, in it's pure form, strips minerals from your body to digest the sugar.

eh, maybe you don't give a crap, I dunno.
but I do know most of us are mineral deficient, unless we eat organic.
senate document 264 covers this along with dr linus pauling who said, "all chronic illness can be traced back to mineral defiency."

get well soon....

Sorry, asked about your pain in the window tint thread. Good move - get to the doc tomorrow.
