Using a real Brady example, what if Bledsoe never got hurt? Brady woulda never saw the NFL playing field as a starter

Packers drafted Tony Mandarich in 1989 ahead of Barry Sanders and Derrick Thomas…

Brett Favre and Barry Sanders

Derrick Thomas and Reggie White

The Braves were unwilling to pay $15000 to acquire the rights to sign Willie Mays. If they had ponied up the money, the Braves would have had Willie Mays and Hank Aaron in the same outfield for 20 years.

I like the idea and I know it's just "what if" stuff but I don't think they would have been in the position to take Favre or White if they drafted Sanders instead of Mandarich

The entire New Orleans Saints Draft history.

"If Ken Griffey Jr. could have stayed healthy, we wouldn't be talking about Barry Bonds having the career homerun record"

No.... but people who care would still be talking about Bonds and his use of PEDs.

Alex Molden instead of Eddie George.

Because, Jim L. Mora (Jim Junior)

So about Griffey Jr. Think he's a first ballot HOFer?

Miami and Brees

This might be one of the most far-reaching when you realize it could have drastically impacted both the NFL and college.

No doubt, I meant it more as the potential pairing of those two guys
I'd say they have a nice little pairing as is, ay?

OBJ who?

The 94 Expos. Robbed of a possible WS by the strike, which likely would have saved baseball in Montreal.

David Thompson never does drugs. The 1970s were the golden age of drug casualties in pro sports, but none bigger than David Thompson. He was Jordan before Jordan, and could be considered the greatest player of all time had he not devoted his career to trying to snort the foul line.

Eric Lindros straps his helmet. Lindros is one of the most talented hockey players ever, and its a tetament to his ability he still made the hall despite an injury-shortened career. He had huge concussion problems, primarily stemming from the time Scott Stevens hit him so hard that I thought for a second that Lindros was dead. And while Stevens gets deserved crap for the hit, Lindros had his head down, and despite a previous history of concussions, DIDN'T STRAP ON HIS HELMET. The thing provided no protection and flopped off his head, and he was never the same player.

Drew Bledsoe doesn't get hurt. We never find out about Tom Brady, and he leaves the league as a career backup. the Patriots don't become a dynasty. That was the most fortunate injury for a team's development in sports history. No way Brady gets a fair shot at the job with a healthy Bledsoe eating up that big of a salary.

If Brady gets drafted by anyone other than the pats, he'd be an average QB

Two words: Sam Bowie.

the trouble is Portland already had Drexler who plays the same position and was a HOFer himself. If you want to go full 20/20 hindsight, the Rockets shoulda traded Sampson for the #2 pick and take Olajuwon and Jordan

Odell and Megatron on the same team. Jesus

but wouldn't Buffalo just take him instead of trading up for Watkins?
