not really, because OBJ wouldn't be the superstar he has become if he was the #2 WR in Detroit and not making that 1 handed catch in NYC on prime time TV vs the Dallas Cowboys.

You would take Ebron over OBJ?
Did I say that?

Drew Brees going to Miami.

I'll wait for the list of TEs that dominate from day 1.

Wut? The kid out up disgusting numbers in his rookie year.

Using a real Brady example, what if Bledsoe never got hurt? Brady woulda never saw the NFL playing field as a starter
Not true, watch the Brady doc. They almost certainly would have moved on from Bledsoe sooner than later. He actually beat him out that training camp, but Bledsoe was more established.

he did, but he would not have put up the same #s as the #2 WR in Detroit. and if he puts up the same # even in NYC minus the catch i doubt he's the household name he's become. Hell if he makes that catch at 1 pm in Cleveland it makes SC top play and that's about it most likely.

How do you figure?
Yeah, I didn't think that one through. To save myself, maybe because they have such a great running game, they don't value QB as high and don't take Favre in the second. It was too early in the morning and wasn't fully thinking

So about Griffey Jr. Think he's a first ballot HOFer?
And yes he should be a no-doubter for first ballot, but knowing how stupid their voting is, I could see him not

He's the same player regardless of media attention

SIAP
The Timberwolves coulda drafted Stephen Curry with the No. 5 or No. 6 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. They instead drafted Ricky Rubio and Jonny Flynn. Stephen Curry was drafted No. 7.

He would've started eventually IMO. Maybe not for the Pats.
There are/were a lot of QBs that got a shot in the NFL.

now you are missing the point. he doesn't have the same stats on a different team and hence is not viewed as the same type of star that he is currently.

The Trailblazers supposedly were offering Clyde Drexler and the #2 pick in the 1984 draft to the Rockets for Ralph Sampson. Then the Rockets could have taken Olajuwon #1 and Michael Jordan #2... and had MJ, Clyde the Glide, and The Dream on the same team. Coulda been a dynasty.

If Joe Dean hired Spurrier instead of Curley.
If the Saints signed Warren Moon from Canada instead of getting a 50 year old Kenny Stabler.
If the Minnesota Vikings don't unload picks to Dallas to acquire Herschel
Walker and the Saints do the same for Steve Walsh. Would the Cowboys be 3 time champs?
If Len Bias didn't do blow and kept clean while playing alongside Bird, McHale, and Parish?
BTW, great topic
