Nope, he and John Oliver are left wing hacks.

Seriously, these people are directly responsible for our young people being partisan hacks. Oliver does NOTHING to help give two sides of an issue.

Than who is responsible for the old people being partisan hacks? You know... like the guys in Congress.

I'll give it to you: you got me. I kept thinking throughout the video that "Surely he means Kenyan, but is fricking up". Sorry, but this is the dumbest I've ever felt on this site. You completely played me there, and that alone was worth your link, although I think it has nothing to do with the subject matter. I pride myself on being an intelligent individual, but I didn't know the term and drove right into it. Bravo.

Negative. Won't miss his writers either. Without them, he's a bumbling idiot.

Oliver actually took most of them with him when he went to HBO. Stewart said he didn't give a shite, and I believe him since he knew he was only going to do this for another year and would rather have Oliver take them to do some good for a decade or two.

I highly disagree. I'd say in every report he says "but to be fair" maybe 3 or 4 times and gives them their due. He's very bipartisan when reporting the facts, even if his personal opinion may disagree with it. I do think with every report he does, he wants to make sure he has everything covered and talk about the hypocrisies of both sides. Really, what's in it for Oliver to blindly praise democrats? He's not a citizen, didn't grow up in the Republican/Democrat system, and can't vote, so I don't think he gives a flying frick about the parties here and just goes after the issues. Yes he typically sides with the left, but he's no where near as bad as Stewart is about it. Hell, I'd say he goes after MSNBC than Fox News on his program, unlike the Daily Show of course.

No.

He's a comedian who sits right in the middle of the political arena, with reactionary commentary on anything he doesn't like, which is 95% based on right wing politics. When he steps in it himself, he claims that he's a comedian, nothing more.

Go riddance.

It never fails to astound me how nobody realizes that when you call a smug condescending elitist a smug condescending elitist, they ALWAYS hear it as "I'm super pissed off about how right you are and how convincingly you state your case".

And to be fair, that's always closer to the truth. Otherwise the accuser would have more of an articulate rebuttal than simply whining about tone and attitude.
