Here's another one: would it be ok if they sold Cecil's body parts for research? Would all be forgiven of the lion murderer? After all, PP can do it and it's no problem.

How would Cecil's body benefit science? It's not like we have had any shortage of lion carcasses in medical history. It's not as if they'll give another lion a heart transplant.

maybe he should stop lying about "how bad he felt" - he clearly had no remorse if it's next preferred action was to go kill an even bigger animal and waste hundreds of more pounds of meat for a selfish and immoral kill.

You have no idea what is in the guy's mind. Find a new cause and stick to the facts.

Hunters and fisherman do have remorse after realizing that they've taken the wrong animal... whether it's because the animal was protected or tagged or whatever. Doesn't mean that they give up hunting. This guy could've felt a little bad, a lot bad, or he could be Satan. You have no idea.

Millions of animals are taken every year by hunters, but you're on a crusade over one hunter. Jump off of the bandwagon and put your efforts towards helping people in need instead of grandstanding over the popular cause of the day.

Here's what you do:

You petition the nations of the world to protect their animals.

But in the end it's their animals and their right to allow or disallow specific types of hunting or hunting in general.

If someone breaks the law, then petition said nations to prosecute to the fullest. But again, it's their country.

What you do not do:

You don't run someone out of business and threaten their lives and run them into hiding because you believe that they're guilty and you don't want to wait for due process.

Seriously, who gives one shite. I'm not down with killing animals like that, but if you have the coin go enjoy it. I know how that money and meat goes into the communities to help for basic needs. He shouldn't have to shut down his practice because the animal he killed had a name.

It wouldn't be so bad if the lions name was something other than Cecil.

Agree. And absolutely no chance that big fricking cat knew his name was Cecil. Seriously, ya think the other Lions called him Cecil??? They were most likely saying shite like, awwwww frick, here comes that mother fricker that will eat yo arse. Let's GTFO

A male lion with a pride doesn't hunt though. Those lions are still killing as many animals without Cecil.

Yes. Cecil just made his bitches go out and do all the work. After they brought the Zebra back, Cecil would then make the ho's watch him eat what he wanted ( hence the term "Lions Share) then, once Cecil had a full belly, he would allow the women to eat. Afterwards, Cecil would ram any and every lioness he could mount. Cecil was an obvious male chauvinist

It's over the top, just like the Mike Vick reaction was, that said he could man up and turn himself in. Once he serves his time the furor will calm down as it did for Vick.
