Pineapple Express has gone against Armstead - good point. But, Edebali and Powell have too and the word is Edebali has looked good and Powell has been running with the ones. Not bashing Kikaha, I think he's gonna be a star and make us say jr who, just saying.

I agree. Edebali & Powell are both in their second camp now. Both already have a feel for the talent level adjustment from college to pro as well a familiarity with the defensive scheme. It allows them to play faster while Kikaha is probably doing a bit more thinking instead of going full speed ahead. If he isn't progressing some by the middle to end of training camp then it maybe time to worry some but it is way too early to begin to panic.

I'll reiterate what Payton said that sometimes fans have very unrealistic expectations of most rookies. Very few come in and make a big impact. Most are role players or special teamers at best their first year.

Guys like Vaccaro and Cooks have been exceptions to the rule. Hopefully Anthony is too. I'm fine waiting a year for Peat and Kikaha to season if they need it. Most rookies do.
