Here's the soup thread, Rat.

Soup Thread

I'm sure there are some good ones in the recipe book and there may be some in the recipe thread. I know I've posted a good many on the board. See my first post in the thread. If there are any I mentioned that you're interested in, I'll find them for you or post in the thread if I haven't posted them before.

There are already some good suggestions in the thread not necessarily recipes, but things you could eat like scrambled eggs, egg drop soup and the like.

I had a similar situation with a tooth that was cracked and killing me. They wanted me on antibiotics first and I thought I was going to die from the pain. Nothing helped me sleep. I got some of that numbing stuff and got a few minutes of relief here and there, but I was a zombie when I went in to see them after I'd been on the antibiotics for about 5 days or so. I couldn't stand for my teeth to even touch. I could hardly eat at all. I feel for you. Toothaches are nothing to sneeze over. They can be awful.

This is exactly where I am now.

Cracked tooth - check
antibiotics - check
no sleep - check
Orajel - check
can't let teeth touch - check
can't swallow - check
5 days - check

ETA: throw in some nausea, too

I can't see why someone would take Vicodin for fun
