Fwiw the judge in Manhattan is very liberal and the one in Minnesota was a Bush 41 appointed judge, so unless he's under the NFLs thumb that might be better for Brady if their political leanings are any indication

You really are grasping now. The NFLPA wanted Doty because he has always favored in their side.

The NFL was already going through NY to keep it out of Minnesota. They liked their chances there more than Minnesota.
